FDA 510(k) K233465 covers radiological image review, analysis and diagnosis by trained medical practitioners. Mammography is excluded; this listing does not claim diagnostic mammography or DBT use.
MX317W is distinct from MX317W-PA. The -PA model has separate digital-pathology indications; those claims are not applied to this product. Daisy chaining and 94W charging require compatible devices and a suitable USB-C cable.
Verify PACS compatibility, native-resolution output, reading-room conditions and facility QC requirements before deployment.
One monitor & standard accessories
EIZO lists a USB-C cable, two DisplayPort cables, one HDMI cable, two USB Type-A–Type-B cables, an AC power cord, RadiCS LE and documentation with its standard kit. MX317W buying & setup questions
Is the MX317W intended for diagnostic mammography?
No. FDA 510(k) K233465 covers radiological image review, analysis and diagnosis, and explicitly excludes mammography. Do not select this model for diagnostic mammography or DBT.
Can the monitor charge a mobile workstation?
The upstream USB-C port offers up to 94W Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode video. Confirm your workstation's charging requirement and USB-C video support before ordering.
Is MX317W the pathology-cleared MX317W-PA?
No. MX317W-PA is a separately identified model with different FDA indications. A Patho display preset on MX317W does not establish those separate primary-pathology indications.
Is the display 3840 × 2160 UHD?
Its native panel is 4096 × 2160, a wider 17:9 DCI 4K format. Configure the workstation and application to use the monitor's native pixel matrix.
