Philips SpeechControl supports device configuration in supported environments. Recording, cursor controls and motion-sensor functions vary by application and setup; a microphone purchase does not include a Dragon or SpeechExec license unless expressly stated.

Does SMP4000 use Bluetooth?
Philips specifies a dedicated 2.4 GHz wireless link. The standard kit uses the ACC4000 docking station to connect to the computer. The ACC4100 AirBridge is an optional adapter, sold separately.
Can it record independently of a computer?
This SpeechMike is a microphone for a computer-based dictation workflow. The Air battery powers wireless use; it does not turn the device into a standalone file recorder.
Will it work with our reporting or speech-recognition software?
Compatibility depends on the application version, operating system, device mode and any virtual-desktop configuration. Share those details with Texel Comp so the connection and control requirements can be reviewed before you order.
Can we order several microphones for our team?
Yes. Include the model, quantity, preferred control style and delivery destination in your request. For an existing installation, include your current microphone model and software so your team can compare the change.
