How does SMP4010 differ from SMP4000?

SMP4010 uses a slide switch for record, stop, play and fast rewind. SMP4000 uses push buttons. Both belong to the wireless Premium Air family and use touch-sensor navigation and the ACC4000 docking station.

Can it record independently of a computer?

This SpeechMike is a microphone for a computer-based dictation workflow. The Air battery powers wireless use; it does not turn the device into a standalone file recorder.

Will it work with our reporting or speech-recognition software?

Compatibility depends on the application version, operating system, device mode and any virtual-desktop configuration. Share those details with Texel Comp so the connection and control requirements can be reviewed before you order.

Can we order several microphones for our team?
